The Challenge:

Perenco's Race Village was a complex exercise in collaboration as we partnered with race management team Extra Mile to design and execute a vibrant, high-energy village hub. Our primary task involved the end-to-end management of sponsors—from securing strategic partners to sourcing high-quality, health-conscious giveaway items. With the event featuring 1k, 5k, and 10k races starting at different times, the village faced three distinct waves of participants. Our mission was to manage the logistical flow perfectly, ensuring that the final finishers received the same premium experience and rewards as the first, maintaining a high level of energy and engagement throughout the entire morning.

The Solution

We focused on delivering a seamless experience through the curation of health-conscious sponsorships that mirrored the fitness goals of the event. To handle the staggered arrival of the different race tiers, we implemented a strategic distribution plan, carefully monitoring inventory throughout the morning and intentionally reserving items for the final 10k finishers. This ensured that every racer, regardless of their distance or arrival time, felt equally supported and rewarded by a consistent, high-quality village experience.

The Result

The Race Village successfully upheld Perenco’s commitment to each attendee through every wave of the event. By expertly managing sponsor relations and inventory flow, we ensured that the spirit of the race remained vibrant from the first 1k runner to the final 10k finisher. Every participant left feeling valued and rewarded with health-conscious takeaways, proving that strategic collaboration and thoughtful logistics can transform a complex, multi-tiered race into a unified and rewarding community experience.
